the factory headlamp with LED DRL has already built-in the 'balast' driver for LEDs.
The headlamps are working perfectly -> of course if you ignore the warning message 'check left/right daytime running light'
I think it is problem in consumption (21W DRL bulb use about 1.6 Amp on the other hand LED DRL only about 0.6 Amp).
The BCM detects lower consumption as a bulb failure. I guess only, because three different types of a headlamps can be fitted.
