fan blow problem

Hi all

I am having problems with the blow not coming out the screen vents.

On changing the pollen filter check the selector as it's climate control, check the motor and they work just that the selector does not turn all the way to the screen post ion with out help.

have oiled it and helped buy still sticks, any idea how to free it up or any 1 had this issue before maybe ?

Not heard of this one before mate you have said you have greased it have you taken it out and made sure it can all move freely?

not taken it out no, wouldn't know were to start. it's behind cables etc.

is it easy to remove ?

any how to's ?

any warranty on the car as if the selectors are broken it is a big job to get the H vac replaced

The selectors seem ok it's just that little bit that I needs help with then goes ok, don't know if there is some thing stiff some were that's what it feels like not broken.

I'll look on TIS for you but like Tucpal said if you have any warranty take it back as it wont be easy and if it needs replacing it wont be cheap.

Sounds more like the "Mode Control Cam Actuator".

And on that note have a look at this thread the is a ton of info I put in there which should help you mate.

Where are you based as it may as simple as just resetting stored info with an MDI.

I had a very similar issue, mine was was something behind the dash. Cant remember name of it but i remember it was suppose to cost me just shy of a grand. Down side was without my car for nearly three weeks. All because cam dropped a screw down the top vent at tracks lol
