To purchase to make swap over smoother. I’m new to all this so please bare with me and any help is much appreciated.

My Astra has a leak in the boot, where the spare wheel is. The boot itself is dry. But there is damp on the back seat and the passenger footwellis wet.
I have just taken it to my local Vauxhall Dealer, they did tests all day, could not find out where the leak was. They said they would need to take out the carpet, seats and take off the bumper to find out more. Would be 6 hours labour. Im picking the car up tomorrow. It would cost over £400 before any parts.
Sent a mail to opelnavigation.com and asked for new release of roadmaps 2020 for intellink 950 Astra J.No more releases for 950 system.2018 is the latest.
If you compare it to the 900 system that has SD card there will be releases 2019/2020 maps Astra J.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to get never roadmaps, mine is the 2018 maps USB.
I went to replace the tail brake light and the plastic cover to access the screws etc I broke the clips now it won’t stay on
Anyone know the name or a link so I can buy a new one I can’t find it
Hi All
Know this has been covered more than once, have fitted an Alpine SXE centre speaker now I did not have the factory wire to connect to so ran a positive from one dash top tweeter and a negative from the other, great better sound or so I thought! until I got a phone call this was so quite as hardly able to hear, playback must come through the tweeters, now will fitting better tweeters help or have I got to go down the subwoofer amplifier route? the head unit is Vauxhalls CD600.
Does anybody know if there is any big difference between the 2 sensor water pumps that are on the 1.7 engine . Opel Astra J
The sensor pump from nr crt 8 is very expensive and very hard to find, i'm wondering if i can change it with nr crt 7 and also change the pulley as it's different.
Basically should do the same thing no?
Hi all,
I am having exactly the same problem with a 2nd hand Astra as in this thread: https://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-Any...t=55576026
The supplied spark plugs actually seem to be not suitable for the 1.4T engine at all. Their part number is 55565219 and they are chopper plus and not iridium.
Now, one of the supplied spark plugs broke and damaged the engine and I am having to provide some evidence that my car was supplied with wrong plugs. So far so good. No-one can access the invoice of the previous owner, but the dealership confirmed it was apparently serviced with GM plugs that are fine for the next 60.000miles - mine are not GM stamped, blue writing, they only state Champion RC10MCC R6...
The correct part number is 55576026 as stated in this thread, I did ask the dealerships. This part number was updated recently to 95528733.
Now I wonder how it can be that approved Vauxhall dealerships insert wrong spark plugs? Around the same time? My service was done also in 2016 in April. (yes, it's 2020...waiting to resolve this for the past 2 years) I wonder if there are more cases like this? Anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be very helpful.
No warranty anymore, so cannot go with this.
Also the usual problems, slow coolant loss....finally found a crack in thermostat housing, but that's the least of the problems now.
