Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
Have the 'Service Soon' message popping up intermittent on my Astra J 2001 2.0 Diesel, and the fault codes read are:
P0087 - Fuel Rail - Too Low Pressure - Unrecognised State
P0399 - Cylinder 1 Pressure Sensor Circuit - Malfunction - Faulty Function
The car seems to drive OK, no general loss in power but am noticing when changing gears the engine revs seem to overun if the gas is less off when the clutch is down. i.e. if chaning at 3,000 rev, and i put the clutch down and let off the gas, the 3,000 revs is maintained for a few seconds and not inline with letting off the gas. Not sure if this is linked.
Any advise in tracking down the issue appreciated!
hello guys ,i know service vehicle soon does not mean it needs service but there is something wrong somewhere although my service is due in 2 months and oil life is around 10 percent ,First i thought it was due to oil but i reset oil but it still appears say once in say 2 days,i am worried something has failed or is failing ,car drives normal ,i have used obd 2 reader with torque pro app but it is showing no fault codes,i am using Vgate icar 2 OBD2 reader which is a decent one and has helped locating fault codes many times but this time it seems it needs a more advanced reader to solve the puzzle ,I was planning to service my car next month but due to this fault either i have to take to garage now or i buy a better reader to know if there is some serious fault which needs urgent attention.i will appreciate if someone can direct me to link where i can buy good obd2 reader .I have searched opcom but there are so many fakes around, not sure if they will work .
Thank you Guys.
I was wondering if someone can help me sort an issue out with my headlights, I have put LED bulbs in my headlights with a fan On my Astra Gtc 1.6 64 plate. I cannot get the original covers on, Has anyone else done this and got replacement covers to make it air tight with fan still able to work properly. Thanks in Advance.
I have a 2010 Astra J. A short while ago I had to remove the door card in order to replace a broken door check strap link. Job done, window switch reconnected, everything back in place.
But the passenger window only worked for a couple of days. So, disconnect the battery for 20 minutes, reset all the windows and everything okay. Again the passenger window ceases operation a couple of days later. Repeat as before. Two or three days later passenger window not working again. Does anyone have a solution to this as obviously I can't keep disconnecting the battery every few days.
Hi, I have a Astra j 1.7 cities 2013. I have oil underneath the intercooler pipe where it meets the throttle body. Should the pipe move a little where the clip is ? Or should it be tight ?
