VXR Front Bumper onto a 5dr - Bear - 2:nd-Oct-2020 As the 3 door and 5 door wings are both the same i was wondering if a VXR J front bumper would fit onto a 5door J . If they do fit are they a direct swap or would there be some fabrication needed? RE: VXR Front Bumper onto a 5dr - Rusty2009 - 3:rd-Oct-2020 The wings are not quite the same. In terms of front bumper this has been a debate for many years, with no real clear answer. Some say no it needs modifying to fit others say it will fit. I know of 1 person who claimed it was a fit without modification & they claimed they did it on their car but as soon as photos were asked for the person stopped replying. RE: VXR Front Bumper onto a 5dr - Jpbroad1970 - 3:rd-Oct-2020 As rusty says front wings and bonnet are different, I've just checked parts catalogue, I would imagine to you would need new front panel and gtc headlights minimum but haven't checked all that. |
