Thanks dude! Sorry, missed that bit out. It's an extra wire from the control box which has a speaker on the end of it. You can place it wherever you want . I have it in the cubby hole and can hear it fine. Apparently the noise comes from the "screen" if you go for the model which has the screen (the one in the ebay link in this tutorial comes with it).
