Towing and Parking Sensors
Good morning all
Does any one tow a trailer or caravan with factory fit parking sensors?
Everytime I hitch up the trailer or caravan, the park assist will turn off. I know this should happen if you have the proper wiring and programmed in to the car, but being a mean scotty, I just have normal cheap electrics fitted.
Does anyone elses do this? And if so, how does it know your towing?? Kinda weird how it knows. The minute I remove the trailer, all is back to normal!
Cheers

Wiper fluid and coolant bottle sensors
Hi All
So I've finally got my new IPC working but wasn't able to disable the warning messages about the low wiper fluid and the low coolant levels. I can't afford to fit the bottles which have the sensors and have read and have been told that I can just bridge some connectors to stop them from appearing...what exactly does this mean and how would I do it?
Also would doing this disable the coolant temp that I see in the display or is this something else?
Thanks
Retrofit Coolant and Wiper Fluid Sensors
Hi All
Just looking into the sensors I would need to retrofit in order to get the wiper fluid and coolant sensors working as I'm thinking I'd probably get some use out of this so it makes sense to use it rather than have those warnings removed all together. Would be a project for when I have more money but wondering if the following sensors are the ones I need?
13195945 - Washer fluid
13276326 - Coolant
Also do these just sit between the pipes and the actual tanks themselves or ar

parking sensors
Anybody ever had any trouble with them, mine has them front and rear, fitted by vauxhall from new I believe, when I select reverse the automatically switch on, but yesterday when I selected reverse, I only got a message in dash, saying 'parking assist off' and I am unable to switch them back on via the button on the facia
I didn't really like them when I first got the car, but now that they don't work, I'm missing them and realising I must of been relying on them a lot
After market Reverse sensors
Hey guys
Anyone know I which are the best type of aftermarket reverse sensors are that can be fit by a garage? It's something I'm thinking of getting in the future and see a lot of garages offering it as a service but don't wanna pay them like £150 and have them fit cheap rubbish ones, would rather buy my own and pay them to fit them.
Cheers

Here is my tutorial on installing a set of rear aftermarket parking sensors. You’ll want to start off by following my tutorial below to remove the black interior boot trim before you do anything else. Once this has been done then you can start with the installation an

Invisible parking sensors fitted. Pics and vid.
So today my 'invisible' parking sensors arrived & I got straight to work when I got home tonight. Thanks to the how to on here it was so simple.

So the great thing about these is that they're invisible, no drilling, so easy to fit and easy to remove if they stop working

People with front and rear sensors
So on my old gtc my sensors would only come on if I put it in reverse or if I put it on with the button when going forward with no reverse. In this one, if I get too close to a car in traffic lights it goes off without me pressing the button or me putting it into reverse.
Are they supposed to work this way?
Parking Sensors
Is the parking sensors from an astra estate the same as the hatchback?
Whats the best way to spray them? Is there a company that does it.
