no idea why this is happening but there is a run off electric pylons on the way to work on the motorway
that go on for about 3 miles and every time last week i went past them at night with the lights on
the DAB would cut out and not come back on till i have passed them
i have had no problems in the day on the same run with the lights out
so yesterday i drove past them in the day and turned the lights on and again the DAB cut out
so i took the LED tail lights out and put the standard bulbs back in
and again drove past the same pylons again with the lights on and no issues at all
so i concluded it is the LED tail lights that are interfering with the DAB receiver in the rear window
and as i have to go past this bit off motorway when i am on nights it is probably best they were taken out
as i can not stand the radio dropping out on me
so if this happens to you with the LED tail lights just be aware this will be the issue
but to be fair this only happens on this stretch of motorway and i have had no other issues anywhere else
