Terms

All invoices must be paid in full before item/s are sent or vehicle leaves.

PayPal payments are accepted but paid as gift only, cash is preferred method of payment or bank transfer.

Due to buying parts for customers and being let down I will now be charging a deposit before any parts are ordered.

The deposit will cover the costs of any parts that I have to buy & will be non refundable should you change your mind.
Of course if I am able to use the parts on another job I will refund the money I receive, this maybe less than the deposit paid.

Any retrofits are done on the understanding that there maybe a VCI code needed, if GM refuse the VCI code all costs are still payable as with any retrofit there are many factors at play and GM have the final say and they can refuse.

If a retrofit doesn't need a VCI or there is a work around to the VCI again you can never fully say 100% it will work. Its a risk the customer takes when going ahead, again all costs are still payable.

Notes

Please note the VCI code is void after it has been entered into the vehicle, The VCI code is for your

own car & will not work on any other car.

Led Conversions Terms

All parts must be returned within 7 days via Royal mail next day by 1pm service or via a courier

service to an insured amount of £500 that will cover the cost of replacement parts if they are lost

or damaged.

If parts are not returned within 7 days a charge of £2.00 per day is payable unless agreed

beforehand. If parts returned do not match (I.E you return a non-chrome EPB button when I sent a

chrome) you will have to pay the cost to replace said part.

It has to be noted that LED's can fail & although all parts are fully tested prior to sending on

rare occasions a led may fail after testing or a dry solder joint may occur. If a LED fails the

item can be returned for a free repair but you are to cover your postage costs.

All LED's are covered for 12 months if after that time an LED fails there will be a small charge.

As this is a LED conversion done to your requirements any returns due to you changing your mind or

not liking the the colour you've chosen a surcharge will be payable @ 50%.

IPC upgrades

IPC upgrades are done at your own risk although I can check comparability so the IPC should work without issues on the rare occasion it may not work.
All costs are still payable.

  Spare wheel
Posted by: Lammydave - 22:nd-Oct-2017, 06:41:15 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (2)

my 1.6 elite has 17" wheels, but the spare is a pot of sealer... hmmm...

not sure I'm happy with that

I'm quite comfortable with a spacesaver and have seen a few for sale, but they all seem to be 16"

Is this the correct one for my car??

thank you

Hello from me and my Astra!
Posted by: rlievens - 20:th-Oct-2017, 22:31:24 - Forum: Introduction Area - Replies (4)

Hi all!

Promised to introduce myself and the car. Wanted to clean the car to get a few good pictures of it but looks like I don't clean the car very often
Didn't want to wait another few months so I decided I would just post a few pictures from when I bought it in march this year.

First off, I'm a Belgian fellow (from the Flemish part) and my name is Raf! Yes like the royal air force
In march this year I decided I wanted to trade my 12 year old Nissan Almera 1.5 CDTi (was still rolling great btw..) for an Astra J. I just loved the looks of that car. And I wanted one. A dark one and one with a lot of fancy options!

I think I was rather lucky when I stumbled upon this Astra J as it had a lot more options than 90% of all other 2nd hand Astra's on sale. And I got a decent deal on it. Fell in love with it.

Some specs:
1.7 CDTI - 110bhp  Sport edition (don't know if that's what it's officially called)
90.000 km when I bought it, currently at 101.000 km (63.000 miles)
Electronic Parking Brake with the beautifull clean center console
Automatic lights, automatic wipers
Automatic dual zone airco
Heated side mirrors
Automatic folding mirrors
Auto dim rearview mirror
Tinted back windows
Sport chairs which you can electronically adjust (no memory seats though) Not leather but fabric, very comfyyy. Can sit hours in it without a problem.
Heated steering wheel
Heated front seats
AFL xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights. With the spray thingy that pops out if you clean your windscreen and your lights are on.
Automatic high beam assist
Back lights are tinted
SPORT and TOUR mode
Some sort of "sport" trim pack that includes front and back bumper trim, sidetrim and extended spoiler thingy. Makes it look sporty
Electric windows front and back. Handy to lower windows with the key before you enter on a hot summers day.
Electronic tire pressure check thing.
Doesn't have a spare wheel but does have the airpump and repair kit.
Alarm
17" standard aluminum alloys
Lot's of chome trims inside and out.

I've not done a lot on it, nor will I have to retrofit it a lot beacause it already has a lot of options.
I have:
Changed the reverse light to a brighter LED. Standard sucked and there is only 1. Tinted windows don't help with visibility while backing up at night!
Fitted those ultra bright license plate LEDS, the help with the visibility as they light up the whole ground lol!
Retrofitted the DPF-waring LED following Rusty's how-to. I had a full DPF problem which luckly sorted itself out, but this is why I decided to join the forum!

Now, finally, a few pictures. All washed and waxed up after I bought it:

Here I just figured out that my Astra had a body kit, and the standard astra on the left did not. I didn't even know when I bought it

  Colour
Posted by: Lammydave - 20:th-Oct-2017, 04:42:26 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (7)

hi, Picked up my 2014 Astra Elite a couple of days ago...

Was looking to identify the colour... it's a grey of some sort..

I think there should be a sticker with the code on somewhere, maybe on the passenger door post? .. but there's only a tyre info one there

Am I looking in the wrong place?
Or can someone help me identify what colour I have?

Thank you

The horn on my Elite is rubbish.. think it's a single tone.. the one on my Vectra was excellent.. probably two tone... can the horn be upgraded?

  Gearstick Ambient Light
Posted by: sheppy1 - 18:th-Oct-2017, 15:06:36 - Forum: Parts for sale - Replies (7)

Hey

I have an ambient light here for sale which has the connector from an auto transmission Astra J. You can however snip the connector off and wire it into the ambient light circuit yourself if you have a manual car.

Anyway, pics below and part number of believe is 13306445.

Looking for £25 posted.

Cheers

  Crashed :(
Posted by: mw2299 - 18:th-Oct-2017, 13:50:41 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (2)

Absolutely gutted. Pulled out of a car park space, went to drive off to the left and went straight THROUGH a 5-brick high wall. Wrecked 3 radiators and my front bumper :(

If anyone knows where I can get a front bumper from with parking sensor holes in black that'd be amazing. Had a look on eBay but not much about!
