Yes, as the profile of the tyre is bigger. Make sure you get the correct wheel for your braking system though. i.e. J60 or J67. https://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-Braking-system-differences I went down the same route and replaced my can of goo for a space saver. Cost me approx. £100. for a 2nd hand jack kit, new wheel, and I was fortunate that the space saver tyre on my old Vectra-C was the same size and got it fitted to the new wheel. I had recently written off the Vectra and was waiting for the insurance Co to take it away, minus a space saver of course New kits at the time were something like £220. So see if you can source 2nd hand if possible. I suspect there will be more available now than when I was trying to hunt a space saver kit down. |
