I have a 62 plate astra J 2.0 CDTI.

I have noticed a few things and wondering of could shed some light on things to check.

1) my rev needle is sitting at 500 revs (not sure if that is low and then at times it fluctuates.

2) when driving and trying to set off it just doesn't seem to have the same power. It's intermittent but at times the power just don't feel there

3) The automatic stop start doesn't work anymore, or shall I say majority.of the time it doesn't work and then here and there it comes back

4) My radiator fan seems to come on a lot. Once car is up to temp and I rev the car once it will kick in and then stop. I rev it.again once and off it goes again not sure if that is normal.

Car doesn't have any warming lights but just wondering of anythings to check and any info on what could happen if left unattended as my car still drives but she just seems a little off? Worry or not to worry?

I’ve started you use the motorway quite a bit lately and I’ve noticed if I want to go 70mph the speed on the clocks must be 76 mph is this common or do I need a software update or something

I've recently purchased a 2013 1.6 astra GTC.
It's done 25000 miles with full service history. The SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message as popped up a few times but disappears after a 30 seconds. I took it back to the dealer. They reset the service light telling me it was just a glitche the gtc is known for. There's been np error codes stored either. I just wondered if any other owners have had same or simular issues with the service light??

Hello, new member, so apols if this has been asked before. How do you remove the handle shown in the pictu, labelled 2? Is it just brute force with a pry bar or is there a more scientific way?

Hello,
It is possible to add speed limiter to 2011 Astra?
My car have cruise control and i will replace the wheel for a heated one which happens to have also button for speed limiter.
What's involved in adding this option?

My lights dont come on when I unlock the car anymore. Ive checked the settings and they say it is turned on, but they dont come on anymore. Any idea why??

hi can anyone provide me with a wiring diagram for the a20dth engine. 

I need to find what pin on the ecu is for the lambda sensor and test from that end.

Hi to everyone here.  

I've just taken delivery of my '61 plate Astra SE CDTi 2l today.  I'd hoped to push my '54 Astra H up to 123456 miles for the fun of it, but it as soon as I saw the Astra J in charcoal grey I knew I had to be driving that next week.  

I've had it out for a bit of mixed urban and motorway driving this evening and am totally impressed with how it runs, handles, looks and feels.  I'm not surprised to find the CD400 to be about as much use as the CD30 was, but am hoping to transplant my Pure Highway from one to the other, which will give me iPod, USB and DAB functionality.  

I'm new to car forums so forgive newbie questions please!

just like to say high, ive had may vauxhalls in the past and i have just bought a 1.6 astra j 2013 with only 3000 miles on the clock yes 3000 miles. only bad point no Bluetooth,

Just been doing a few bits to the car under the bonnet and found a Meta System T30 on top of the battery, what is it for looking on net it’s say it’s a tracker others say it an insurance black box?

Do I need it on the car or is it used as part of the my Vauxhall app associated with on star?
