| Carpet impossible to vacuum |

Is it just me or is the inside carpet, both in cabine and boot, impossible to vacuum properly.. especially the flexfloor is hard.
Every thing sticks to the carpet. I had a Vectra C OPC before and the carpet was very different and a lot easier to vacuum and get clear..
The carpet also feels a lot cheaper and not what you would expect in a newish car... It feels like something you would use for selfmade subwoofer cabinet.
I vacuum my car every week and also use rubber floormats in the winter time.. But still I feel it is a pain to vacuum.
Am I the only one?

Hi all. What are the biggest wheels you can fit to the Astra j 2.0cdti SRI,bear in mind the Astra sri is lower than other models. I have the 225/50/17" atm. I'm currently looking at 235/40/19" do you think they would start to rub with luggage in the boot? These are the ones I'm looking at . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172216806345 they said they would come with 235/40/19 tyres thanks.

Hi All,
Just put a deposit down on a Astra 2.0 CDTI ecoflex. Pick it up tomorrow.
Replacing my rather short time in a Alfa Romeo 159 ti.
I'm from Scotland (Prestwick) and I suppose i've jumped the fence as I used to be a Ford man. Partner has a Corsa E and that got me interested in getting a vauxhall so here I am!
Thanks,
Ben.

| Not Starting on first turn and Service Theft Deterrent System |

Hi Guys,
Need your help folks.
A month or so ago, I was getting a random "Service Theft Deterrent System" message coming up randomly and my start/stop wasnt working.
So googled it and everything pointed towards a dodgy battery, especially as the start/stop want working.
Anyway, I replaced the battery for another good second hand one and low & behold, the start/stop started working so that nailed that S/S problem. However randomly I was still getting a "Service Theft Deterrent System" message.
Anyway, over the last week or so, on startup the car wont turn and the same "Service Theft Deterrent System" pops up. You take the key out and try again and we are absolutely fine with no message. If you simply turn the key to off and the turn it wont start, you have to take the key out completely. However, I have also noticed now that my start/stop has again stopped working again since this issue has started.
So, any pointers please? Cannot be another dodgy battery can it?
Any help appreciated.
With regards,
G.

Hi,
i am trying to install the OEM rear view camera (1717006) into my Astra j (2011).
I have the new dvd/radio/navi-unit (a third party product) which is designed for Astra J (2011).
My plan is to install the wires from the camera to the radio unit, but I can't find any information about the order of the camera wiring.
Does anyone have pictures of the wiring harness (13391275) and particularly from the connector with wire color, please ?
It seems to pick up a feed from the reverse light (green wire), has an earth , connects to a pink wire at the front(ACC), and connects wires to pin 5 (White wire) and 15 (brown wire) on the multiplug on the back of radio unit.
I would like to get information how the colors of the cable (13391275) are connected to connector (E) see link and page 3 (http://www.ifz-berlin.de/ins_pdf/13391275.pdf).
The colors of the camera wires (connector) are:
- Orange
- Red
- Green
- Black
- Blue
- White
And the colours of wiring harness (13391275) are:
- Green -> reverse light
- Pink -> Acc from Fucebox to camera
- White -> video signal from camera to radio unit (hopefylly +)
- Brown -> video signal from camera to radio unit (hopefylly -)
- GND -> to tke ground/earth
Best regards
