VXR Spolier for 5 Door

I'm no good with photoshop so could someone potentially look into this?

Oh is it? Damn :( I'm sure I know of a bodyshop that could make it fit, wouldn't like to know the price of the actual spoiler though, feel as though you're very limited for choice on 5 door.. When it comes to tuning, regal, courtenay, tx autosport, they only seem to know what the new VXR is, and nothing of the diesel, it's odd

Yeah will do, cheers, steinmetz and irmscher are dead expensive, can't see the VXR one being cheap either

they are ridiculously expensive although i did find an irmscher one a while back for rusty for £80
but that is a very rare find
the vx line is about £100 on average
but i agree its not that radically different but it does add some thing a bit different than standard.
i would love to see the VXR one on the 5 door

If i knew how to work photoshop then i'd have a go but i'm no good, if I can get dimensions and find a decent one kicking about I'll get it fitted and we shall see, but that's my plan, not to mix and match from various other 5 door models, just to go for something that will be totally different and quite rare..

Lets face it... It would be rude not to? You had plenty of people putting the VXR kit's on their 5 door Astra H's, including a mate of mine, runs a 1.6 VVTi and just had a VXR front bumper fitted and top grill, looks good now! Trying to convince him to drop a VXR lump in it

It looks like you have a full body kit including sharkfin and rather fetching chrome door handles . Are the handles expensive?

the chrome door handles have been on the car now for just about 2 years
they can be found on ebay they cost about £20 to £40 for a set and just stick on with 3M tape
The link i got my ones from has gone now but there like these

the Astra H ones fit also, but get the stainless steel ones.

they will make the door handles stand out on a black car
so should look OK

Having an elite I have the chrome already but I think VX made a mistake as they should be all chrome or all colour coded,

I am going to change my handles at some point to colour coded as I don't like the chrome handles and I'm not overly keen on the stick-on ones.

Thanks for that , Rusty. I believe I like that look , I have the SRi , so the handles are colour coded on mine. I get what you are saying about stick-ons , do you know how durable they are . .

You can fit the 3 door vxr spoiler to the 5 door. seen it a few times on instagram!

i am amazed what are international friends get up too
they seem very good at converting body kits
and other bits over from different cars

you need to track down the owner and find out what he did.

Not sure on the look of the VXR spoiler on the 5dr looks a bit out of place as it sits a lot higher than the 3dr.

All you see really is a VXR spoiler bonded onto the existing spoiler, it doesn't look bad I guess, but probably better to remove the OEM one and replace with the VXR one

To remove the oem spoiler and replace with vxr spoiler would require some modding to make it wider as the 5dr tailgate is wider than the 3dr tailgate

Yes very true, I will have to speak to a friend, had a VXR front bumper fitted to his 5 door Astra H, done a real good job too..

I think the reason why our friends across the water are ahead of us on the visual mods is due to very tight restrictions on power mods, where as on our shores it's more about power mods than visual

i really want that front bumper
