Intermittent engine rattle noise

Hi all new to here bought my first Astra 3monthd ago it's an Astra j 1.6 cdti ecoflex 136ps. The problem I am having is an intermittent loud rattleing noise on startup. It sounds like it's coming from the throttle body/egr area. Sometimes rattle clears after a few seconds sometimes stays if you turn the car off and restart the rattle is gone seems like something is sticking if that makes sense. I have no eml lights on. Also got an intermittent slight rough idle as well not shore if the problems are linked or not really hope someone could shed some light on this as it's starting make me wish I Neva moved to Vauxhall :(
