Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
is here anyone how knows which cable is signal, plus and negativ for Start/stop system on this ECO button and connector?
Is there any existing diagram please?
I'm considering buying an Astra GTC and have found one that ticks most of the boxes, however I have just noticed that it is the 1.4 118 bhp model not the 138 bhp. What is the difference between the two engines? Is it physical or software? Could I still eventually achieve the same power output with tuning mods?
I could do with some advice to help with an issue that has just surfaced.
I started my Petrol GTC this morning (27/10/2018). The warning lights came on as normal and then all went our except for the Yellow Engine Warning Light. This light stayed on. The car seems fine to drive. It has done 13,010 miles, had a full service 4 months ago and has been sitting in the drive for the last 3 weeks doing nothing while I recover from an operation. The oil level is fine. I have checked and there doesn't appear to be any loose connections under the bonnet.
The Owners Manual suggests a fault in the Emission Control System. I tried the pedal test but it appears that Vauxhall don't support this in the series K astras. Has anyone else come across this and, if so, can you tell me what the likely causes are. Is it possible that the cars emission system has been adversely affected by me not doing many miles recently ?
Well I'm fed up. I fitted a set of LED headlight bulbs a while ago and have put up with the warning lights until today when I set out fitting the resistors I bought ages ago.
And lo and behold......................................still got warning lights
Not sure whether to go down the HID route as there's no issue with start up delay on mains. The other halfs Giullietta has no issue with warning lights and has the same LEDs fitted as in mine!
Hi all, have been a member of another forum since getting my CDTi GTC SRi in January and have just stumbled across this much more model focused site so thought I'd join up. The only mods I have done are LED DRLs and headlights, still have warning lights as haven't got around to fitting the resistors yet. Love the car for many reasons but have seen some really nicer ones since getting mine, strange how you only really start to notice your car on the road when you get one!!!
I'm needing advice, I am thinking of straight piping my car from the turbo back but im not sure wether to leave the cat in.
has anyone done this previously and does anyone have any videos of their astra straight piped?
Hello All. I hope somebody can help me. I have a 2015 Astra J 2.0 cdti Elight with a Navi 650. I have fitted a Xbox unit & reversing camera that is working great. Now I am fitting a four antenna DVB-T2 unit but I have lost the fitting instructions. I can remember most of the connections but am stuck on three wires. Purple TX. Green RX. and White IR. I seem to remember one or two wires connected to the handbrake circuit but not sure which ones. Thanks. best regards. kipper
So I've had my astra sports toured a week and I'm pretty pleased with everything except the fuel economy im averaging about 42-44 mpg and thats in eco mode driving sensibly. My old car I traded in was a 09 vectra 1.9diesel and it averaged 49ish.
I thought with this being a newer car ( 2015 with 22k on.) I'd at least get something similar to the vectra.
So for those who've a standard 2.0 what you getting mpg wise.
Only got the car just over a week ago but got chance to spend some time cleaning it on Saturday. 64 plate 2.0 SRI. Was very swirly when I got it so gave it a bit of TLC. I'm no detailer and don't have a DA or anything but used what I had in and looks a lot better now. Washed with Autoglym shampoo.. applied some Farecla G3 to try and sort some of the swirls out followed by Poorboys Black hole and topped with Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax. I was happy with the results.
