Hi, I'm a noob here, I'm picking up a 2012 Astra Elite on Saturday. I've been reading a lot about replacing the CD400 with Android head units, which sounds good to me as I'd like Bluetooth and DAB. I've been given a dashcam recently (Nextbase Duo HD) but I've seen that you can add cameras to the Android units. Is this as good as having a separate dashcam, and can you also use the rear camera as a reversing camera? Thanks!

Greetings everyone
I would like to know if it would be possible to retro-fit the Navi 950 to my astra J sports tourer SE instead of the CD400,I have seen on this forum that there are certain people that offer this service but what really grindes me up is, would it be possible to retro-fit parking sensors and have it display the distance just as factory wise?
and also if reverse camera retro-fit is possible with the navi 950 .
best wishes
Daniel

hi all, has any one fitted a sub with built amp to a after market head unit (V5754)
what I need to know is what phono leads from the head unit do I use,
because the white thin plug that goes in to the back of the unit has many phono plugs coming from it,
ie 2x white and 2x red marked (front right/front left) (rear right/rear left).
but the two iso plugs that power the unit and speakers have 2x phono plugs from it (1 red) (1 white) with stickers saying (onstar)
so if any one as some info on this please let me know...........

After reading the manual it appears that my car should remember the last radio station (personalised key function). But every time I get in, it tunes into Classic FM, now I'm not against classical music, in fact I quite enjoy it, but why doesn't it remember my favourites? I've tried both keys but can't seem to get it to remember the last station.
What am I doing wrong???

Grinding rotating noise from GTC? |

Hi all,
Got a little problem with the GTC 2014 Sport CDTI 2.0L. Recently its been making this horrible grinding noise. The noise is really loud when I turn the car on in the morning, it eases away when the car is warmed up a bit but does not disappear. It seems to be coming from under the engine but I can't be sure.
A lot of information online has pointed to the DMF or clutch release bearing, not sure which applies to me.
The noise is made when;
- The car is turnt on, gear in neutral, clutch decompressed
- First gear, second gear and can even hear it slightly in higher up gears
- When the clutch is disengaged
When I push down the clutch, the noise seems to go and returns when I put it into gear and release the clutch.
I've attached a short video (turn up volume)
Look forward to your replies, any info would be useful
Thanks, Matt
