Intermittent start, stalls after clock sweep no throttle response Jump to Latest
Posted by: Brendonm9477 - 23:rd-Dec-2020, 10:01:12 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (5)

Hi Guys,

Like most I’m here cause I have a problem!

new here and to Astra’s apologies for lengthy post,

I have 2013 Astra J 1.7cdti..

came to me as non runner and someone had attempted to remove injector 3but they unscrewed the top didn’t even take the rocker cover off! Anyway new injector fitted,
Everything seems fine it fires up runs ok for a second or 2 but as per title there is NO throttle response. After it does clock sweep it starts to misfire and die. Then struggled to start cranking for 10seconds then same again after it starts.

I HAVENT coded the replacement injector as I’ve read mixed information hence I’m here.

I have Delphi tool, not a complete amateur either, I’m competent and will give anything who with relevant guidance.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhuCzsbdc7U

in the video above this is every first cold start, then it dies everytime after clock sweep, you can here it running lumpy and a "ticking noise" i think its a split in the belt. its had a hard life!

any info you guys can give me would be f**king awesome!

TIA

Read Bumper for Hatchback in White
Posted by: Vx-Mad-G - 22:nd-Dec-2020, 17:23:39 - Forum: Wanted - Replies (3)

Some Bar Steward has scraped the rear corner of the wifes Astra whilst it was parked, and naturally dissappeared.

Therefore, I need a rear, I dont want to go through the hassle of painting, so its got to be White.

I think its Olympic White?

Needs to have PDC holes and would prefer the one with the chrome strip along the bottom (so facelift).

Thanks.

DPF problems cold weather 1.7 cdti 110 hp A17DTE
Posted by: seekar - 19:th-Dec-2020, 19:13:54 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC Technical - Replies (1)

Hi, I have an astra j 2013 1.7 cdti 110 hp A17DTE and as soon as the weather has cooled it shows me that the DPF is full and to continue driving. What could be the reasons why the car makes so many regenerations if for example today I drove 1000 km on the highway and everything was ok and tomorrow morning when I start the car I get a warning with DPF on board. Any opinion is highly appreciated.

"Took out a policy with Chris Knott today. My renewal came through last month from my old insurers of nearly £600. Spoke to the very helpful lady here and got my insurance with all extras for £200 less. Over the moon. Definitely worth a try for any looking for insurance." S31thy, Focus ST Owners Club

"Excellent service and advice over telephone. Easy to setup and take out car insurance." Jon Eden, Trustpilot

"Great friendly service. Very efficient - saving me nearly £200. Thank you." Evan Hand, Trustpilot

"Easy to deal with, and cheaper than renewing with my current insurer, so I'm very happy at the moment." Tim Buxton Trustpilot

"Excellent interaction and detailed answers to questions. Ian quoted me a competitive price and apologised for time spent on hold although I thought it was much shorter than some. It was the best package price I'd been quoted, including breakdown cover, and I felt confident to buy." Mr Penny, Trustpilot

  Navi650, mic not working
Posted by: Markt82 - 15:th-Dec-2020, 17:51:56 - Forum: Retrofit Research - Replies (9)

Hi, just done a navi650 swap from cd400, all good and an Intellilink navi650, however the microphone does not work, I put the mic wires directly into the pins 6 and 16 of the A11 socket, tried them both ways round and nothing, nobody can hear me via Bluetooth, any suggestions with this?  Thank you

Mark

  Headlight Switch Disassemble
Posted by: Jetcolour - 13:th-Dec-2020, 09:32:54 - Forum: Request for information - Replies (3)

Morning, just wondering if someone knows how to get the headlight switch assembly apart? I'm taking it apart to change the led's in it. Not 100% how it comes apart and don't want to force/break it. Tried looking on the forum but couldn't find anything.
Thanks
