Hi all today I drove to widnes stopped the car for a couple of hours then went to start the car and it ran for a second then cut out.... I tried to restart but the starter didn't turn over then after 30seconds it started fine.
The only thing I did was when I started I didnt let the glow plugs light go out I was rushing.
Is this something going wrong or just a one off thanks.
I have a 2013 2.0 cdti 165 thanks all

Without wishing to sound patronising; was the clutch fully depressed? I know I’ve had a couple of missed heart beats when the car hasn’t started only to find the clutch was not pressed to the floor

I've had this happen once at a service station, I believe it was just the car having a brain fart moment and it rejected the immobiliser code.
