Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
Does anybody know why my USB/AUX port would not work?
I first tried plugging in a small USB hard drive (always worked with my old head units) and now I've tried a 16gb SanDisk Cruzer Force (just with 4 MP3 albums on it) and it always says something like 'no aux devices detected'
It's a CD400 head unit and the car is only 1 year old......and its super annoying

I have a 32Gb USB , but over 1000 tracks , it didn't work - when I reduced the number of tracks to under 1000 and no folders it worked fine.
I'm trying 4 albums (in folders)
I'll go and try it now with flat files and let you know.
(It's pretty crap if it doesn't support folders.......I can see 3rd Party ICE happening )
@GOKIWI Doesn't work with flat files either, maybe it doesn't like the memory stick, I'll try a different make and then take it to my local dealer (I hate Main Dealers.....)

Did you format the usb drive before adding the files...
I have a cruzer usb inserted and it works fine with folders, have you clicked on the aux button twice, as it has two sources (usb & aux). It should automatically select whatever is plugged in when you press aux button but you never know, you may need to press it again for it to see the usb device.
Have you tried the aux in port to see if that's working? If it is, you could quickly remove the dashboar trim around the head unit and pull the outlet socket out and see if the cable is inserted correctly at the rear, it only takes about 10 minutes if that.

Ok brain fart time.....it was formatted for NTFS and not FAT32, must have used it for some HD movies in the past.
Re-formatted as FAT32 and it all works fine......I'll crawl back in my hole now
