Hmmm that's odd! All I can suggest is extending the wire and splicing straight into the ambient light circuit or the headlight power cable behind the headlight switch... That's what I did and it works great

The problem is that the car is still under warranty. I don't know if the warranty is lost if i do that...

Maybe needs new LEDs??

Mines got the 100k miles warranty too mate, bought the car new aswell and the only warranty you void by doing any mod is on the thing you've directly modded ... Like I've changed almost every part of my car so those aren't covered any more but the parts I haven't touched still are
