Anyone noticed a strange pump noise in tic over.
I have the 1.4 turbo and on tic over I can hear a noise coming from the air con pump which doesn't sound normal. I will try and post a video soon. The sound fades in and out with each turn of the belt. Also while on the subject of noises I noticed the car sounds a bit like an electric car when driving over 50mph. Any ideas? Hi there was wondering if anyone has had the strange noise on the astra j a20dth engines it's only on start up for 30 seconds to minute seems to be a common kind of issue on these engines, just to see if anyone has any idea before I start replacing belts pulleys and tensioners. It's a similar noise to the insignia that's in this link https://youtu.be/_DnGjvC6JlE

Hi, has anyone had a problem with intermittant coolant loss from the waterpump (1.6 petrol)
the previous owner told me he had to top up the coolant a number of times, he said it had leaked onto the belt and sprayed around the engine bay, he had his dealer look at it 3 times they could not find a fault! I've not seen this, or had to top up coolant yet, any ideas?
retrofitted = DAB+, GM dog guard, GM reversing camera

I have a parking heater and if weather are under 7 degree, if i don't power it (parking heater with remote control) he powered alone with start of engine for fast warming. Regards |
