I have the 1.4 turbo and on tic over I can hear a noise coming from the air con pump which doesn't sound normal. I will try and post a video soon. The sound fades in and out with each turn of the belt. Also while on the subject of noises I noticed the car sounds a bit like an electric car when driving over 50mph. Any ideas? It's a similar noise to the insignia that's in this link https://youtu.be/_DnGjvC6JlE Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk RE: engine problems - niteram - 18:th-Oct-2017 Hi, has anyone had a problem with intermittant coolant loss from the waterpump (1.6 petrol) the previous owner told me he had to top up the coolant a number of times, he said it had leaked onto the belt and sprayed around the engine bay, he had his dealer look at it 3 times they could not find a fault! I've not seen this, or had to top up coolant yet, any ideas? RE: engine problems - kebibg - 11:th-Jan-2018 (24:th-Jan-2017, 08:32:18)Rusty2009 Wrote: Mine is a little noisy in the cold. Hi, At the manual write if a weather is cold power is reduced to due engine warm. May be you talk about that. I have a parking heater and if weather are under 7 degree, if i don't power it (parking heater with remote control) he powered alone with start of engine for fast warming. Regards |
