parking sensors

Anybody ever had any trouble with them, mine has them front and rear, fitted by vauxhall from new I believe,  when I select reverse the automatically switch on, but yesterday when I selected reverse,  I only got a message in dash, saying 'parking assist off' and I am unable to switch them back on via the button on the facia

I didn't really like them when I first got the car, but now that they don't work, I'm missing them and realising I must of been relying on them a lot

Is that all it says?

Could try leaving it overnight and see what happens in the morning.

If that doesn't work pull the Neg off the battery for 30 mins then see.

If that doesn't work could be a faulty button or module (put it should say service park assist if a part is faulty.

The fairies fixed it while I was driving home from work tonight, I had to reverse to leave work and they didn't work, usual fault message, reversed to park it when I got home and it worked, I didn't press the button or anything, a bit confusing, might take your advice and take negative off battery just to do a reset and see if it happens again

I have this morning, had them not work again and got a warning light saying service parking assist, ggrrrrr, so right now battery negative is off to try a reset like you've earlier said
