Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
Hello! I've recently bought a 2014 Astra J Biturbo, it's only got the rear parking sensors, and therefor the distance is audible only. I am wondering what is involved in fitting front sensors, and having it programmed appropriately.
I have seen posts regarding retrofits, but can't seem to find one with info when you already have just the rears.
Any information is appreciated, many thanks, Pedro
Hello, I recently installed front parking sensors for Astra J GTC, I will post a detailed video, until then I would like to help you.
If the front bumper is original, you can refer to the location of the sensor plates, I did not change the lower grille, I used the Plastic part with the license plate. (I haven't painted the sensors yet)
In my vehicle's sensor, the connection cable (installation cable) for the front parking plot is partially broken, this cable goes to the front side to the cable bundle under the battery.
Do you have it in your own vehicle, check it first, I made the connection by pulling a cable from under the battery, in the original this cable comes together with the installation cable for the front fog lights, I will make the connection as soon as the original one.

After programming the module and programming the Yol b computer, everything works as it should.

I am interested to do that aswell but under the battery are 2 connectors , which one is for parking sensors ?
My car doesn't have fog lights aswell so I would like to retrofit that aswell. I already fitted the complete front bumper with sensors and loom , I just need the loom between bumper and connector under battery tray

Custom made loom to go from battery to front bumper loom.
Sensor brackets.
New lower grill (depending on if any sensors go in grill).
New pdc module.
Hello. So if Retrofited already rear sensors for front sensors I need different pdc module ?
Why I don't see nothing on cluster just audible signal only ?
Thank you
