Rear driving light not working

Hi

The rear light drives side has stopped working. At first, I thought it was a bulb problem. Bulb ok. So the next thought that it must be the bulb holders. But check that on another car and on the opposite side. I've ruled that out as well. So it can only be the wiring or the plug itself. Can this be bought separately? Or is it a case of tapping into the wiring loom with a 2nd hand plug.

Have a look in the connector at the pins are they ok or are they dirty?

Have you tried a little squirt of WD40 and a clean with a scrap tool on the connector terminals?

Which light are you talking about the outer light or the boot light & which bulb isn't working?

Some connectors you can buy new (if you can locate them) or buy a sometimes over priced repair kit from Vauxhall.
