20" wheel question

I have been offered some 20" alloys in the corrwct fitment in exchange for the 19" incorrect fitment ones I was sold, only issue is tyres are 245/40r20 now I know they should really be a 35 profile the guys has them on his astra j estate without any rubbing will they fit my 5 doors hatch without rubbing till I can get some new tyres

Assuming the Astra J chassis is the same, wheel arch size is the same, I have done a calculation based on changing my wheels to the ones you are considering and there isn't any problems. If you go to the same website you can compare your current wheels to the ones you are looking at...

On my GTC 2.0CDTi 165bhp the correct size is 235/45R19 and therefore 245/40R20 is the right size for my car. And that is what I am running with no issues
