does anyone know if there is a part or a way to change the lower and up grill sections to honeycomb?? This is a vx line bumper also so might be more difficult 

Hi all, going to order all my stuff for servicing the car. Looking at fuel and oil filters and bosch and mann are the more expensive ones on the market. I dont mind paying it but wondered whats the difference between them and a cheaper brand? Are they going to make my car run better than a different brand? Or is it just the brand name im paying for?

Brought a facelift front bumper primed and ready to paint.

Just a few things I couldn't find the answers to to get me started with modding.

1) How do I go about removing the front and rear badges for painting. I've learned to get the front grill off its a bumper off job but can I remove just the chrome badge? Also the rear one which is the boot release button.

2) VXR fog surrounds. Have seen the VXR has the silver panels around the fogs. Never had a close look but are these panels that can be added on or part of the bumper. I'd like to paint some and put them on.

3) Rear wiper. Is it easy enough to remove this and does anyone know what size rubber plug thing I need for the hole?

4) Changing headlight bulbs. I have tried to change these but I take them out and can't remove the bulb from the holder. On my old car these pulled straight out. Am I missing something?

I want to change the standard filter to either a pipercross or K&N panel filter. Has anyone used either and can recomend one of them? Is there any difference apart from price? Pipercross about £10 cheaper.

I need the rear rooflight in my GTC. Will the plug and wires be there or do I have to make it my self.
My car is 2012 2.0CDTi Sport (SRi) GTC

Against the advice of most of you on here I decided to fit a DTUK box to my 2.0 cdti Sri j and was working fine for a few hours then as expected the dashboard imitated a Christmas tree, service vehicle soon was showing intermittently and was going into limp mode with no engine light showing though, removed the box then had it do the same service vehicle soon warning and limp mode about 3-4 times kept stopping and starting the car and then it seemed to be all ok, drove the car for the first time today and now the electronic parking brake keeps biting a bit like the hill start assist and warning of release handbrake keeps appearing I clear it and all is fine but keeps appearing at low speeds, anyone know a fix could I just plug it in to a code reader and clear anything ?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place

So my 2003 Astra 2.2 SRI needs to get off my drive.

It probably needs someone who has the time to work on it or break it down.

It's got a pretty new exhaust system on it and (standard) and had a new coil pack as the engine management light kept coming on and blocking the Cat.

It runs because the Cat has been removed but now has Mot although that can be sorted at cost.

It only has 78k miles on it but patchy service history and is in average condition for age.

It's also got a pioneer Bluetooth head unit and some 6x9s but can't remember the make.

It's in Leicester just need charging the battery to run and open to reasonable offers.

I appreciate most of the value in it is in the head unit at about £45

If interested let me know will put up some pics.

Wind deflectors for a 5door. Comes with all of the clips.

The plastic has snapped (as pictured) on the edges on the back ones however you can't see this when they are fitted. The fronts are completely intact.
