Installing usb port and bluetooth 1.4turbo
Posted by: 1.4turbo - 14:th-Apr-2017, 21:41:44 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (10)

Hi I'm after some advice I picked my 13plate astra up today over the moon with it... however I want to know what I need to do and what's the easiest option with regards to getting the bluetooth function working when I press config it doesn't bring up the phone menu so what I'm asking is can I take it to a dealer and they do it or isit just as easy and cheaper for me to do it myself and will it work straight away....... no software changing ect
Also id like a usb port however I'm guessing that may be trickier

Cheers x

Does anybody know if anybody in the Yorkshire area who's able to fit the device that enables the wing mirrors to automatically close when you lock the car?

Posted by: Tonto - 14:th-Apr-2017, 09:20:59 - Forum: Club meets all Regions - No Replies

For those that don't know, CarPro is a very reputable detailing brand, with innovative products. They also stock AutoPerfekt, Bilt Hamber, Koch Chemie and Soft 99.

We will be having the Sunday to ourselves at CarPro UK in Edinburgh and are meeting at CarPro for 10.00am. Lots of demos to look forward to and also the group discount for any purchases! Definitely a date not to miss!!

We will be leaving Newcastle around 7.30 am and once we get to Edinburgh, stopping for breakfast before we head into CarPro UK.

Let us know if you're coming along!

Hey guys,

Loving my astra but not the price of my r19 tires lol.

Ive seen a lot of people on here are using uniroyal rs3 tyres. anyone know a rough price on these?

Just been quoted £123 plus vat for some falken or £168 for continentals. not sure what to go with as need a couple of tires replaces but dont want to break the bank.

Hi guys,

I've got a 2011 Astra 1.6 SRi and need to replace a caliper.

Seen one from a 2013 1.4SRi, are they the same?

Thanks

M072 DVR Not Recording to Sd card
Posted by: burnsy - 13:th-Apr-2017, 19:35:43 - Forum: ICE - Replies (1)

Hello all,

new to the forum but have been lurking around. I had an Insignia and installed an Android unit, changed to an Astra and wanted to do the same.  After much reading on this forum and excellent how to's plumped for the M072 which I installed yesterday.
Apart from the radio, cant get more than 1 station, Rob from Iceboxauto seems to think Its to do with my car aerial having an amp,  I cant
get the DVR I bought from him to record to the SD Card.  Its a 32gb Kingston class 10.

Ive spent forever messing about with it now and have tried various cards as well  .

Any help would be much appreciated thank you .

Tony

Well lads and girls i currently have a 60 plate astra j elite auto and i love it!
Current mods:
K&N air filter
Heavy duty battery which is bigger than original (got to have a good battery)
Alloy pedals

Now then im a wheelchair user who needs an auto and im thinking of getting a gtc and i have saw a very nice 66 plate limited edition auto

I will be transferring the alloy pedals because you cannot find a used pair anywhere and the battery will be coming with me as its 5 months old

  Fuels Temperature sensor
Posted by: Nuko-san - 12:th-Apr-2017, 12:11:08 - Forum: Request for information - Replies (9)

I'm getting a P0181 Error pretty much every morning (starting the car from cold), got the car from a trader and he's been quite good (paying for visits to the garage to get it sorted etc.) so last time the garage he was using replaced the fuel rail with the sensor... The error code still occurs. I don't know whether it's me but isn't the sensor on the end of the fuel rail a pressure sensor?
