Welcome back to the VXOC FORUM.
Sorry for our lack of support over the last year but MYBB is back and so are we.
Let's get the forum buzzing again... (March 25, 2022)x
Does anyone have installed additional USB plugs on dash near or instead of cigarette lighter (or in other place)? if you do have it done, can you share some pics and some tips?
i am thinking of having 3 port USB hub connected to Android head unit and have extensions (something similar into the ones from below URLs) comming to center panel with fixed plugs. not sure if that will even work though.. but USB hubs are quite cheap (don't see the reason for usb 3 at least for testing if this would work at all.
round one (which i believe should fit into cigarette lighter hole, if you would decide to remove it for what ever reason)
square one (i like this little bit more, but there is not much to choose from it appears)
I have a 2016 Astra J GTC. I need to remove the inner wing liners (front and rear). I have checked the site and can't find a reference to this request. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Also, does anyone know if there is a GM workshop manual for this vehicle ? JCT600 have access to a parts catalogue and I was having a look at our local branch yesterday. It shows a breakdown of each part of the vehicle. Trouble is, I'm told that it's only available to dealerships. Does anyone know if it is possible to access this type of material from an alternative source ?
Anyone no where i can get a set of gloss black mirror caps or even just covers to go over the existing ones i have a white gtc an wana do the mirrors black, i have looked on ebay at its coming up at like £75 a pair, is that right or can you get covers cheaper?

Hi Guys,
Since I need to get an automatic (foot injury that left me with a long term health issue) I am selling my Grey Astra, it's an 2014 (63 reg) 1.7 Cdti engine (110bbhp) 52000miles had quite a interesting past, due to an interesting electrical fault it had the following replaced:
- the ECM with the wiring harnesses
- the whole fuel filter assembly (with the sensor) and it's harness
- high pressure rail (with the hi pressure sensor)
- DPF regens 2x
- DPF sensors (both of them) - which was the cause of all problems
The car is quite nice - have been using it mostly on motorways (out of 10000 miles I've done since March I've driven over 8700 on the motorway)
Car comes with standard steel wheels, LED day lights, Cruise control, Bluetooth and the standard CD400 (was planing to replace it the the M072 unit, never got around to actually do it).
Got a new set of tyres on it (got receipts for those), and a full size spare wheel, installed an arm rest, replaced interior lights with LED added the HappyBlue
Will advertise it on Autotrader on Sunday thought maybe someone here would appreciate the potential in it more.
I'll be asking for £6000 and most likely will sell it without the HappyBlue, here I'm opened for negotiations.

I'm working in Hull at the moment so can kinda deliver the car between Southampton and Hull.
Hi guys after noticing my drivers side DRl not working I replaced the bulbs. However the drivers side drl is still not working even though the sidelight is. Any ideas
So i am choosing Android head unit to replace stock one on Astra J. And it looks that i am stuck between two units from ICEBOX.
H5754L - this one looks to be older unit (A5754L) HW wise and with little bit lower specs, but is updated to Android 7.
B5754 - this one looks to have newer HW and little bit better specs, but is still running Android 6.
i would expect that B5754 version should receive Android 7 update fairly shortly, but there is not much where to read about it.
does anyone have one of these units (preferably B5754)? how do they perform? is there any strong reason why i should choose one over the another?
also how does FW upgrades work (specially when purchased from ICEBOX) on these devices?
Can anyone recommend me some replacement mats for my 2.0 CDTi Astra-J?
I've currently got the genuine Vauxhall ones (Part No. 13334043), but just after 2 years the drivers side mat has worn a hole in it. The other 3 mats are typically still pristine.
The hole spacing for the floor peg fixings are 310 mm drivers side, and 340 mm for the passenger side. I understand that there are different mats, depending on what model J you have.
The genuine Vauxhall ones (Part No. 13334043) are coming in at around £45 on line.
There is another cheaper genuine one (Part No. UKCVA007) which are around £25, which I guess is thinner and not such good quality.
Has anyone bought non genuine ones, and more importantly are they any good in terms of wear and fitting?
I want to upgrade my head unit to the I-link 950 unit.
So far i know its possible and have successfully changed the VIN on a MyLink unit out of a commodore (I'm an Aussie) and it does turn on and the radio works.
I'm 99% sure that the units store the VIN on the same chip on all devices (made by Panasonic).
I just need a wiring diagram from a Navi 900 and from a I-link 950 and then hopefully i can write a how to once i have done it.
:hyper: :admin: Hi everybody. Names Dan have a 3012 Astra gtc 1.6 turbo and am on here to meet other owners in the Colchester area and get ideas for my car :)
