  M072/ Bluetooth/Torque issue
Posted by: CraigSRi - 15:th-Jan-2018, 18:55:17 - Forum: ICE - Replies (5)

I am in the process of recommissioning my Astra J and decided to try out my OBD2 bluetooth unit with my M072 headunit to see how well it works.
The problem I have is that on first fitment it saw the OBD unit but couldn't connect (wirelessly via bluetooth), then after decided it couldn't see it at all.

The unit works fine with the Torque lite app on my android phone when used in my Volvo so I'm at a loss as to why it won't work with the same app on my android HU in the J.
Is there a setting somewhere I might have missed? Or is it likely my cheap chinese OBD has decided to go fubar on me?

Any suggestions/ideas welcome.

just like to take the time and say hello to everyone

im Robbie and im from the south wales area. this is my first vauxhall and decided to give it a try and turn from the darkside (ford and honda).

my previous car was wrote off the day after boxing day so headed out and picked up a 12 plate red gtc. my first impressions have been excellent although dissapointed that this car didnt come with bluetooth. i viewed a couple of sri cdti`s but the millage wasnt that great.

i never seem to keep a car standard so already looking for some modifications such as new wheels and the sat nav retro fit.

im waiting for my personal plate to go on then ill get some photos up although its still standard.

  TPMS came on unexpectedly.
Posted by: shabba - 13:th-Jan-2018, 20:08:34 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC - Replies (11)

TPMS light came on today whilst zooming down the motorway.
Blank reading on the rear offside tyre. Nothing wrong with it at all.
Turned off motorway & checked it out. Fiddled with tyre cap still on, drove a further 300 yds pulled in & switched engine off & back on. 2 mins later the TPMS light went out, thank god.

Anybody know why this would happen & how i could reset it, should it come on again.

  Check brake lights

Hi has anyone had this check brake lights before? Happened twice before but noticed 1 of the leds burnt out on top brake light the first time so replaced the unit but got this re appearing again tonight and don't have any brake lights out, so was just to see of anyone has had the same issue before I start stripping lights out and checking earths etc as if it was just one I would have thought it would specify which one.

Controls on steering column are sluggish
Posted by: Brnjas - 8:th-Jan-2018, 15:04:05 - Forum: Electrical - Replies (11)

Good evening to all,

Today, after traveled 500 km from home to parents home I notice that the audio controls on steering column are sluggish. Actually this happened 1st time after first 200 km, and now almost on the finish of my journey.
The situation is developing like this I want to turn right/left, lever is up/down, indicator on dashboard is normal blinking and sound and indicator light are not synchronized, first coming light and after less than 1 sec coming sound.
Wanted to lower down music volume with Audio controls on steering column, and I notice they are also sluggish, lets say delay 2 sec. Did not try cruse control and others.
After I stopped for break and coffee for about 30 min and started the car again everything was back to normal, audio volume and indicators. This is happening to me only when I'm taking long journeys.

Anybody have similar problem?

Opel Astra J 1.7 CDTI -cosmo

I appreciate any help...

Thanks
