  A14NET Injectors
Posted by: Jessy - 30:th-Jul-2018, 18:41:45 - Forum: Mechanical - No Replies

Hello everyone,

The A14NET has 4 Bosch  0 280 158 205 injectors.
the injectors share a few more models..

I looked for information about them, and unfortunately i could not get any data info.
All sales sites indicate that they are 213cc at 3 bar, But the Astra (A14NET) run's 5.5 Bar fuel pressure!

i would be happy to have some help with the information abot this subject,
If anyone can calculate accurately and specify how much each injector volume at a pressure of 5.5 bar?

Thanks in advance,

Jessy

Would these GTC wheels on my Sedan cause any problems?
Posted by: astra777 - 29:th-Jul-2018, 14:04:35 - Forum: Request for information - Replies (2)

Hey everyone.

I own a 2015 Opel Astra Sedan (1.6 CDTi 136PS)

I found 8.5x20 wheels from a wrecked Astra J GTC. I wanna change my OEM 7x17s (225/50 R17) to those.

They both have same bolt patterns (5x115)

Would that change cause any issues (to speedometer, ABS, traction control etc)? Because general fact is more than +3% increase  is not recommended and It's about +6.9% change to the tire size.

But they're also Astra wheels so I'm confused about what should I do.

I'm thinking to get brand new 245/40 R20 tires if you guys approve the purchase.

What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Strange feeling when testing foot in drivers footwell
Posted by: shabba - 27:th-Jul-2018, 19:53:48 - Forum: Mechanical - Replies (1)

So when driving I rest my foot on the rest bar & every know and then I can feel the steering wheel through it (sounds daft but I genuinely can) the steering wheel also makes a weird sound occasionally like a piece of leather being twisted.

Only done this since a mate changed my oil filter by just jacking the car up & going in via driver side wheel.

Think he's knocked something?

"Good Experience. Just wanted to pass on my views of Chris Knott Insurance. After several hours as a keyboard warrior going through various comparison sites and filling out form after form, it was a pleasure to speak to a real human in the form of the helpful Kathy. Although they did not fully match the best quote I had received, they got pretty close. But the real human approach won me over and I have gladly paid a bit more. So, so far a very good experience."   Electric trailer brake?
Posted by: Lansa - 26:th-Jul-2018, 20:17:53 - Forum: Electrical - Replies (1)

Howdy folks,

whilst toying around with opcom and my IPC, i discovered a menu called "Trailer brake"

It shows a 0.0 meter and "gain & output"

Is this something that came standard with factory towbars? Or is this an optional module?

How would it even work?

Could someone here shed some light on it please?

Thank you kindly
