Hello,

I had my car at service and they told me I had to change my turbo. Is this a common problem? 

The fault codes was P0299 and P003A. 

Is there any knows issues with the turbo on this car? It has only gone 75000 km / 46000 miles

Opel astra J, 2010, 1.3 CDTI.

I've had to do mine on 2.0 cdti
NAVI950 , DAB+ & Rear Camera , quick heat, auto lights and rain sensor retrofit

Turbo is not common the waste gate is however.

Also the turbo boost control solenoid valve is very common on these and can cause P0299 error if you do change it do not buy used.

The P003A means the turbo veins need to be learned..
