Pipercross or K&N????

I want to change the standard filter to either a pipercross or K&N panel filter. Has anyone used either and can recomend one of them? Is there any difference apart from price? Pipercross about £10 cheaper.

Make sure you put the sticker on your airbox. And tell the garage when it goes for its service. When i had a citroen c2 the lads had to go in a skip for me to retrieve my k.n that they chucked lol

K&N filter what £45 count up the cost of each air filter to replace every 4yrs (which is far too long) say from dealers £15-20 the K&N will pay for it's self, but again it depend on how long you plan to keep the car.

When I fitted the K&N to mine it did make it sound a little more throaty and the air isn't as restricted.

Have I noticed a difference ? none at all when my car is running standard boost, when I have fitted tuning boxes, I have noticed a very slight whoosh on lifting off the throttle

As for performance, nope, mpg ? doubt it !
