Headlight re-seal what buytl to use ?

Need some info on resealing the headlight back up after installing my projector lens and hid kid do I use the silicone form or double sided thanks

but i would fit the lights to the car and do the light aliment first before you reseal them
makes life alot easier

How did you get your headlight apart? using the oven at [x] temp for [x] minutes, did it have staples as in tucpals tut, how did you get around the staples. I was going to buy an old second hand unit off eBay and have a practice to see if it was worth the hassle.

you have to cut them open as the seal vauxhall use will not come apart with heat

I believe most after market headlights use butyl which is more pliable and easier to remove compared to original factory headlights which tend to use permaseal which is much tougher to remove as it's stiffer and needs to be put in the oven a number of times.
