I'll be getting my VXR back on Friday finally and will start a proper project blog, but thought I'd share some upgrades with you.

Got a nice pile of upgrades to fit
Blue smd's gear surround done, and window switches completed as I had some spares
Tinted 3rd brake light
Pipercross panel filter
Forge underbody brace
Eibach lowering springs
Carbon duct surrounds and front mudflaps

Reverse camera project
Rear mudflap project

I'll be doing a comprehensive How-to for the springs on the GTC including pictures and step by step instructions

Future plans are front splitter
Precat removal

Yes mate time to start again

This is a spare brake light I had, I'll take pics and do a how-to when I replace it but I think it is easier to do it by removing the interior tailgate trim

Apparently the wiper arm slipped out his hand and smashed the screen. The screen was only refitted on Wednesday once the respray was finished

have you two used the same dealers you both have had real bad luck with them
i really hope you both get the cars back soon

Mine went in for a few issues

1. Roof re-spray due to bird poo damage - paid for by the dealer
2. Both wings. doors, rear 1/4s, rear bumper and side skirts due to stone chips - Vauxhall warranty work
3. Investigate the botched repair from the hit with Bambi

The car ended up having a complete re-spray with everything externally that could be removed was removed inc all glass, lights and body kit. The whole car was then flattened back and re-sprayed with3 colour coats and 2 lacquer coats, then it was rebuilt and polished up and this was when the valeter broke the windscreen.

There was a delay as one of their ovens was out of action for over a week then there's been the Easter break. Also they had to wait for approval from my insurance to swap some broken brackets from the accident.

The bodyshop manager wont release the car until he's 150% happy with it

lets hope it is 250%
there is defiantly something wrong with the paint shop in Germany that is for sure there are so many paint issues with the VXR.

Finally the VXR is home. Was supposed to by last Friday but the valeter managed to crack the windscreen. A replacement was ment to go in on Tuesday but that had a chip in it.

The mods can now start

I'd forgot how fast it was and had to ease off a few times ☺
