just an update on this

i have now changed the speaker above to this and find it much better quality and make
also a perfect fit it just goes in with no problems at all


Blaupunkt GT 352 SC. 120W. 3.5 INCH.

it has a tweeter built in and it works well
with the alpine door speakers and BMW tweeters i have also installed
