Hi All
Hope you are all well.
Want to change my bulb setup on my 2011 Astra J as I drive on some rural roads and am finding the default setup a little dim at times.
I have read through the lighting thread here: Lighting Thread but would welcome some confirmation/advice on my choices. Figured I would go LED where I can as ultimately these should last longer.
Going to go for
DRL's: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-ASTRA...19d8d2fffd
Dipped Beam: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NM..._pd_nS_ttl
Main Beam: Got to be honest a little lost here, but I understand I can go LED here.
Front Fogs, Either
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-ASTRA...xyceZSaaSN
or
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-X-H10-9145-H...SwPgxVL-zp
or
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-45W-H10-914...fpA2S1PdIQ
Any advice/experience welcome
Cheers

DRL's are few people seem to be complaining about them bulbs blowing within a year.
dipped beam Tucpal will vouch for them.
Main beam you can go LED on with no errors as you said you want to go LED route.
Fog's I'm having a hard time finding a set of H11's that will fit in the facelift lamps.

Cheers mate
DRL's I only really wanted those so it didnt look too odd with the whiter main lights.
RE main beam, any recommendations for LED's?
RE fogs, I think I am pre-facelift? This is what it looks like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2011-VAUXHALL-...Swo0JWI8gM

Yep pre-facelift.
You try these H7 LED's (but I can't comment on them)

As for fogs you try these but again I can't comment on them

I'm pretty happy with the whiteness/brightness of the piaa blue in mine.. I can't be bothered wiring in load resistors and stuff.
I went osram cool blue intense on the dipped... bit disappointed... but then tbh I think the standard J lights are just pretty crap.
Was looking at changing the fogs for LED but might wait till I have my bumper off to swap the grille out.

Agreed, I was thinking about these as a possibility

Would these be classified as a Mod so you would have to inform insurance?

I've still got the fogs, vanity bulbs and number plate bulbs.... then might do some red footwell lighting to match OEM stuff.
