This ex police astra J is doing my head in, I bought a reset radio off ebay which wouldn't communicate with MDI in the car for some reason so had to send it back, now I started looking at connect2 again and realised I need steering controls for it which I don't have, so yet again im stuck with it and the car is driving me mad, stupid Vauxhall want £500 for a brand new radio fitted, I found someone on here selling one but there 200mile away and still quoting me near 300 for it, anyone any ideas?

The connects2 should work even if you don't have steering wheel controls, it should still give you the warning sounds and also the center dash display.
