I have a 2012 Sri 1.6T, It doesn't happen all the time but regularly enough to bother me. What's happening is when I'm.accelerating the engine is chugging, it's not turning off. no matter what gear I'm in or how hard I'm accelerating it will still happen.

You could stick some fuel system treatment in your fuel tank and possibly look into changing your fuel filter if it hasn't been changed in a while.

Change your coil pack! Very cheap. Then see if it still does it. I drove my grandads 1.4 Astra and it was juddering on acceleration I suggested to him the coil pack or spark plugs need changing. Took it to vx and turned out to be coil pack. The emission light also came up on the dash
