Service ESP Help!
#1
Hi all!

Looking for some advice. Driving home earlier and at about 40mph I jad "Service ESP" flash up on the trip display- additonal to this the TC light and ABS warning lights both showed in the gauges!

Does anybody have any idea what this could be?

Cheers folks

Chances are it's a faulty wheel sensor, but guesswork was never a reliable method of fault diagnosis.

It really needs the fault code(s) reading out to be 100% sure.

Could be a ABS or the driveshaft washer I've just had the drive shaft washer fail (replaced both sides) & a new ABS sensor as one was damaged.

Total cost for parts just shy of £26

This is the washer

But worth having codes read in case it's something totally different.

It goes in on Tuesday to get sorted. I dont have a reader and nobody near that I know of (Ayrshire, Scotland) with a code readed. The car is still under warranty so hopefully its cost free for me. ?

If it's the washer it won't be they wanted £120 to change mine.

Unlucky Bradley I'm up in kirkintilloch outside of Glasgow and would have been able to check, but by time you get up here with fuel it would be cheaper with paying a diagnostic fee probably. I would have checked the codes for free as well as I don't have diagnostics to make money off it just a hobby since I never left my car alone lol.
