BLUETOOTH.....

[Image: 29d3e38b-e638-474e-9e68-94ce2d8df332_zpse568ca0b.jpg]

This is the Factory Retro Kit
For the CD400, and the  NAV,500,600,800.etc

[Image: 7689tsuj-5238252552620353901_zpskq2yzrff.jpg]

It works Exactly the Same as Factory
because it is The Factory Bluetooth kit.
it is a plug and play kit that just plugs between
the connector on the back of the head unit
Then plugs into the Bluetooth module
and the Microphone goes to the light console in the headliner
but you will need to find you own Bluetooth module
as it does not come with the Retro fit kit.

Bluetooth can be Done but the main Problem with Retro Fitting it yourself
is the Loom Needed for this Has to be Made
Its not That easy to get the Connectors, pins, MIC, etc
you can buy the kits Ready made from Germany
but you will hit a brick wall with the Dealers they will not program it or give you the VCI codes
Some have got lucky and they have Programmed it but that is a chance you take.

Your Best bet for this is Just to Get it Done by Someone who has the Kit
and will also Provide the Programming and the VCI codes that are needed
Vxmods on Here can Supply and Fit and program The Bluetooth
At around £280 Including Fitting and Programming VCI codes etc.

The Factory Bluetooth Module Goes just under the Head unit
and is Held in Place by a Cradle

Module part number, 13353284.

CRADLE BRACKET, Part Number. 12768522.

Screws x2 for cradle, Part number. 11589015.

DAB receiver/Ariel, Part number. 15938939.

Microphone, Part number. 13242355.

The Microphone Sits in the light console in the headliner.

I have had factory retro fit Done and it is excellent
And I am very happy with the Retro fit Bluetooth.

OTHER OPTIONS..................

I would Consider an After Market Bluetooth Options like this one
its a Bit cheaper and no Programming or VCI codes are needed so thats a bonus
I have Heard Good Reviews so far about this.

I think Its the Best Bet Money wise Wink_1.

But an After market Head Unit
with Bluetooth, USB, and SAT NAV
Would be money Better Spent again.

BUT YES IT CAN AND HAS BEEN DONE,...

Model year from 2013 (13 plate) that has cd400 will not support
any factory retrofits unless the radio has an ident of - UZZ

if usb is already fitted then the radio will support the aditional
Retrofits provididing the radio again is ident- UZZ

I have found a new Satnav unit on the Vauxhall Insignia site that someone has fitted. I gives: Bluetooth, Satnav, USB, TV, etc. The site they bought it from is: Ali Express.com. When on that site type in (Chevrolet Cruze GPS) and it will take you there. Seems to get good results and uses our own radio CD400. Comes with 7" screen and our facia seems to control all our functions. It also gives control through the steering wheel and lets you use parking camera as far as I can tell.

1. I don't recommend Car-Vision, they have great customer services until there is a problem then the custom service is poor to say the least.
2. With the GEN 1 and GEN 2 units you can keep the factory Bluetooth, there is just some changes that need to be made to the wiring (I don't know what though).
3. If you don't have factory bluetooth the bluetooth in these units are rubbish once you are on the motorway or above 10 MPH it will just pick up the road noise.
4.The maps are illegal and Car-Vision know this and this is way they say they can only update them when the supplier gives them an update (and there have been no updates since the start GEN 1), I updated my version (and I will not tell anyone how to do it on a public forum).
5. the speaker they supply for all warning sounds inc, parking sensors indicators is utter useless, and you really lose them altogether.

I think I know the one your talking about it's just replaced the CD400's screen. I've been tempted but you loose DAB from the views I've seen :(

you would still need programming and the few that do it as a kit and fit dont sell it separate
try vxmods etc
