It seems to me that i'll need just the number 18 from the link above. Do you think that i'll need the number 16 too? Is number 16 and 19 the same for the two grills?

I've been on here for quite a while now having owned a 2013 Astra last year. It was my first car and although I liked it, I couldn't justify the insurance once I passed my test  Fast forward to March and I sold it for a brand new Corsa Limited Edition. The downside being in the time that I have owned it I've had to take it back for peeling paint, seats ripping and constant error messages. The fit and finish compared to the Astra is really quite poor. Upside is the insurance is almost half what I was for the Astra!

I'm now starting to think about upgrading to a GTC in the coming months (what I wanted to begin with) so thought I'd finally introduce myself. Hopefully I'll be back in a proper car soon

Hi,
My old Astra G used to occasionally freeze up this time of year but you could still hear the pump whirring.

On my GTC both the front and rear washers have stopped working and I cannot hear the pump whirring - Is this a known issue and where can I start looking to troubleshoot it please?

Driving to work today in the dark with freezing fog was seriously bum clenching.....use the wipers and everything smeared...it was like looking through a bathroom window.....except there was oncoming traffic

In anticipation of needing a new battery, im interested to find out the differences.

A new one is stupid expensive, as its a GEL battery for the stop/start system.

My car has the below...
P/N: 13 575 153
VRLA-AGM
12V 80Ah 800A EN

A friend of mine has the below....so whats the difference? 
P/N: 13 304 141 - GA
VRLA-AGM
12V 80Ah 800A EN
760A SAE/GS

Can someone please help, as otherwise im going have to fork out near £200 for a new battery, whereas if my friends is compatible, I could get away with £20.

Hi guys,

Quick question, this morning I had the service deterrent system message come up after 3 startups.

Now after reading many messages, this indicates that the battery is goosed.

My start stopto hasnt worked sinceout I bought the car about a month ago.

All this indicates battery from what everyone tells me.

So questions are which please help me with....
a) is it definately my battery that is knackered??
b) I have been advised that as its stop/start I need a gel battery.
c) if I need a gel battery, what would happen if I put a normal one in?

Hi folks,

I have a question about heated leather seats.

When we press the button after stating the car, the lights come on, then without the seats being warm, the switch turns off. Then when I reactivate the switch, they then start to warm up.

Is this normal? Or is there a setting somewhere?
