You'll receive a competitive insurance quote for comparison and automatic entry in the draw.
Don't forget you can get a quote about 30 days ahead of the expiry of your cover with the current provider. That means most members with a renewal date in December also have the chance to be included.

TESTIMONIALS
A few positive comments from car club/forum members and enthusiasts who have asked us to quote recently:
"Spoke to CK and they wiped the floor and gave me a quote of £280 even with all the mods declared. I know who I will be choosing next year." Carlsberg
"Just changed my Insurance to CK as they beat my renewal price by £300 rang up my insurance to cancel they said oh lets see if we can beat it and came back with a higher quote than the renewal." ardente
"Considering where I live and parking on the street, declared mods, my insurance with CK, for the first time, was £100 cheaper than my previous year and £175 less than the renewal for non-modded would have been." Shel
"I’m now insured with CKI. Dealing with my quote and subsequent questions was a lady called Kathy, very polite, very helpful. The quote I received was 15% less that my renewal quote from HD on MP215 with no other mods. Over the past weeks I’ve added to my policy a cat-back exhaust, Eibach Springs, Induction hose, Mountune Quik Shifter, Gloss Plastics all at no extra cost, no admin fees etc. I could not be happier with the service received. Thanks Chris Knott Insurance." Darran
PS. Genuine quote requests only please - we reserve the right to request a copy of your existing insurance renewal to confirm eligibility within the time frame of the competition.

Hi folks,
I currently own a Vauxhall Insignia and a Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 CDTI Elite 150 which the wife drives. Im pretty active on Vectra and Insignia forums.
Anyway, Im starting to look into changing the Vectra we have, which is the 1.9 CDTI Elite 150 (2008 variant). She had an Astra-H prior to this and we upgraded to this about 2.5 years ago as we needed a bigger boot for my sons buggy, but he is out of that so we are looking to downgrade again to a smaller boot. Being Vauxhall through and through, only the Astra-J is in my sights.
I still think that it will be a Diesel that we go for, so im looking at the 1.7 CDTI and also the 2.0 CDTI, I really like the thought of £30/£0 road tax. I think we would probably prefer the 1.7, just because its a smaller car we are going to so dont really think we need such a humongous engine, but if the right car at the right price came along I would consider it.
I've been looking at the SRI, SE and really liking the look of the Elite, not really feeling the Exclusiv or Excite due to the bland exterior (lack of chrome). Probably be able to afford up to a 12/13-plate.
We will be downgrading from an Elite Vectra so I have got to get it right - LOL.
Anyway, whats your thoughts? What are the common points of failure on the 2.0 CDTI and the 1.7 CDTI? Do I need to look for Flywheels, Manifolds?? Have read a few comments that the 1.7 is underpowered? Dont really want to compensate reliability with power though. The Vectra ELITE was always an overkill model for what we needed but it was the right car at the right price at the right time.
Have seen a really nice 10-plate SRI ecoFlex 16v 1.7 CDTI.
Went to look at a 63-plate SRI CDTI last night, but didnt like the buyer and I spent less than 30 seconds looking at the car before I walked away.
So, im after some genuine help, advice and comments. More than likely looking at the 1.7 CDTI just because there seems to be more about.
Thanks in advance.
G.

Hello All, this has probably been posted a hundred times before. But, I have the cd400 factory fitted, just wondering what's the best SatNav unit to buy? Heard some of the cheap ones are very unreliable, maps not up to scratch, Bluetooth streaming is a bit dodgy. So just wanted to know who has done the change and what unit you got? Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers.
