2.0 CDTI Stop/Start and the DTUK RED BOX
Posted by: Rusty2009 - 20:th-Mar-2014, 16:34:41 - Forum: Astra-J/GTC Common Problems - Replies (7)

Vauxhall have issued an update for the ECU for all 2.0 CDTI 160/165Ps with Stop/Start.

There has been reports that this is stopping the DTUK RED BOX working correctly, DTUK are aware of this and have worked on a fix for it although the fix might not work for all at this time.

I emailed DTUK this morning to find out where I stand as I already own the box I was told

Quote:You'll just have to wait and see what happens once the car is serviced in September as there is no pattern. Some cars are affected, some aren't.

Just playing in photoshop here's what I've came up with.

A standard twin exhaust, although I would change it to a dual tip but still looking at them.

Been thinking about it for some time now, but comments below.

  Update on lights and grill
Posted by: Cameron UK - 19:th-Mar-2014, 21:14:30 - Forum: General Chat - Replies (2)

As you some of the brackets on my lights are broken! Today I drove from Leeds to Manchester to pick up some new lights (2nd hand £150), got there after confirming over the phone that they were 100% perfect to find numerous brackets broken.
I've now ordered some fixing kits for the lights (13335737) which I'm going to be fitting Saturday! Might do a how to or maybe someone will post the link to the workshop instructions below

I've also got a new lower grill to fit so a how to might be done for that
