Hope someone can help. I just bought a 2015 Astra J sport tourer.
I am a little confused. Easily done, I know!
On the documentation it says it is the A17DTS opt. LUE engine.
BUT, if I use a decoder for the vin it tells me its a A17DTC
So, my questions are
Which is it and what does the opt.LUE mean? I can find any reference to that.

My car wont start anymore after i cleaned the EGR and suction control valve (scv) and the MAP sensor. the last thing that happened was whistle turbo sound from the engine and it went to ''reduced power mode'' when i sae that i parked the car it i dint turn on since.. but before all that i was haveing with power and stalling issues for the last month and after some internet research i begend to clean the sensors. 

here are the error codes i got from opcom hopefully someone can help

Hi everyone,

Car overheated on Saturday, checked coolant level and nothing remaining in reservoir. Topped it up and made it home. Not easy to see where the leak is coming from, I think it may be the water pump, which I believe is a known issue on these cars. 

Taking it to a garage tomorrow. If is a water pump, what work would usually be completed additional to the pump replacement. Timing belt? Tensioners? 

Whats a reasonable price for water replacement?

Hello, does anybody know how to remove the sun visor on an Astra J GTC.

I have taken the cap off, have removed the 3 screws, but I'm not able to get the sun visor out, it doesn't just pull out.

There seems to be clips of some sort holding it in?

I drive an Astra GTC 1.6 Turbo SRi 200.

Live in North East Scotland and mainly into cars, photography, cars, motorsports, cars, cars, roadtrips, detailing cars, cars and alcohol (not at the same time obviously). Work sometimes get in the ways of all this but needs must I suppose

I have a 66 plate GTC 1.6T SRI.
Trying deperatley to find OEM mudflaps to fit the car but it seems Vauxhall have discontinued them. Found someone selling copies of the originals but it states 2011.10 - onwards. If I enter my Reg or model it says they are not compatible. Is there any physical difference between any model year in relation to the shape of arches / sills etc that would stop them fitting mine properly?

Hey all. Picked up my car on Friday, no issues at all.
Took her for a drive today and went to put air con on, realised the whole heater/air con/heated seat panel isn't working! Seems there's red light illuminating the temp dials if I push on them but nothing on the panel is working. Was working when I picked the car up, have no idea why that panel would suddenly stop working. The stereo is working fine and so are the aux and lighter socket as far as I can tell.

Anyone had this happen before? Rather not have to take it back to dealer if its something real simple im missing here.
