Dry, almost grinding type noise from front wheels / discs area
I have noticed a strange noise on my astra j. The noise sounds like when a brake disc lip may be slightly rubbing / touching the caliper. However, it is not this making the noise. The noise happens all the time. It doesnt change if i brake, turn left or right and it doesnt change with clutch or gear changes. If i push the car when it is off i can still hear it. Possibly from drive shaft area?? Has anyone else had this?

Hello from Stoke
Hi all,
I put a deposit down on a 2013 1.4 petrol GTC over the weekend, hopefully picking it up this Friday! I'm going from a 3.5L Nissan 350z so it's quite a change, it's also yellow whereas my previous two cars have been more subtle shades of silver
. I assume there's a more interesting name for the particular (pale) shade of yellow so if anyone's able to satisfy my curiosity it'd be much appreciated
.
Went to see it/test drive and purchased on the same day. I'm not the impulsive sor
Hello from Lancashire
Hi,
I'm not yet an Astra owner (although my wife's picking her Astra K up today), but I'm on the lookout for a good deal on an Astra J.
I've registered on here to see what I need to look for when looking at cars, so hope to learn plenty

New guy from Fife
Hey everyone, as the subject says Im new here. Real names Craig but some how the nick name Hank has stuck. Currently owned my 2015 Astra GTC 2.0 CDTI for 1 year and starting to modify it. Pride myself on keeping her clean (yes I named my car). main changes I have in mind are new alloys, been trying to find a air suspension kit with little luck so far, so might settle on coil overs. Looked at some body modifications but leaving that till later. As it stands the now all I
