Hello from another Swede
Hello, I’m Fredrik from the north side of Stockholm, Sweden.
Been lurking around the forums for a while, but thought i should introduce myself.
I drive a white 2015 Opel Astra 1.4 T “Drive Premium”, but I am not new to Opel/Vauxhalls.
As many Swedes I started with an old Volvo (142 in my case), but since then I’ve had an Ascona C (Cavalier Mk 2), a couple of different Kadett E (Astra Mk 2) and an Astra G/Mk4 before finally for the first time buying a brand new car from a dealer.

Well its Goodnite from me.
Well I gave it a good try but just cannot get on with Doris, sure the fuel economy is very very good and the build quality not questionable but I just cannot stand that boat anchor Vauxhall shoved in the front and called an engine, I would argue that its bloody dangerous. So I have given Doris a new home (well the wife has got her now so Doris is now probably Dave) and I have taken over her car.
So just want to say a huge thanks to all on here and if you see a black Kia Sportage hurtling alon

From Seat to Vauxhall
Hi all, from Kilmarnock, Scotland. Had my 1.6 GTC around a month now. Love it, standard just now but hopefully start a few mods soon.
Cannot for the life of me figure out how to add a picture. Reduced the file size but keeps saying it's too large.
Big thanks from Chris Knott
I'd just like to thank every club member who has taken out car insurance through the Chris Knott Car Club Scheme so far in 2016. Every month (for 7 months) we've beaten our New Business target and we're now almost 10% ahead of where we expected to be. It's thanks to you and we're grateful . Already for July (the first 4 whole days) we've reached 26% of this month's target, you brilliant lot!
We really do appreciate members giving us a try for their car insurance and finding out how much
Noise from front wheels/brakes
Hi guys, car was services by vx a few weeks back. Brakes advised fine.
But approx 3-4mths ago when under heavy braking they make a loud groaning noise and seems to be when hot.
Was wondering if I need to replace the copper grease on the pads?
Will this cause this type of noise or is the grease to stop just squeezing?
Felt the discs and they are not marked at all

RTI/Finance GAP Cover from Chris Knott
Hi,
As well as offering members competitive car insurance , Chris Knott provides a couple of other products aimed at helping car enthusiasts like you to get back on the road quickly following an accident.
One such product is our RTI/Finance GAP Insurance - we call it 'Combination GAP'. This pays the difference between your car's purchase price and your insurer's payout following a total loss/write-off. If you've got the car on finance and there's a greater amount owing, the po
