'Service ESP' HELP
#1

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar situation or know anything that could help with my 1.4 petrol 2013 Astra GTC.
recently I had the Service ESP message come up on the dash and took it to the local friend to be read.

The following codes came up:
U0125-00
C0196-71

He isn't sure what the problem may be and I don't want to take it to the garage and they scam me an extortionate amount to fix.

My high beam '3rd' brake light also stopped working around the same time.

Well the U0125-00 you normally ignore unless there is another fault to go with it.

My advise is to work on the C0196-71 which the yaw rate sensor.

C0196 71 = The yaw rate sensor offset is out of specified range

https://workshop-manuals.com/vauxhall/as..._or_c0287/

The Yaw rate sensor is under the centre console.

In terms of the brake light replace it, my advise buy new not used.
Astra-J 2.0 CDTI S/S
Retrofitted AFL, TPMS, Navi950, BT, DAB, Rear Camera, Infinity sound system, Towbar, Flexfloor & more.
I can do programming and retrofits using genuine GM MDI and Dealer software.

Thanks mate for the reply!

I've ordered a new Yaw sensor and going to try to replace then reset it as per the instructions in the link you provided.

hopefully that sorts it )
