Hello, I've got a 2012 se and want to fit a rear 12 v aux socket, I've had a look in the boot and there is a fuse box on the N/S how easy is it to wire one to this, I'm useless with electrics so nice and easy please?

It doesn't work off the rear board it works off the glove-box one.

We have a how-to here.

If you mean by rear the boot that again runs from the front but only on the estate model, so hatchbacks don't have the wiring in place.

I've looked in the user manual and it says empty fuse holder 30 in the rear load compartment is for rear power socket, couldn't I just put a spade conector into it for live and a inline fuse and earth it to  the body.

That is for the boot 12v socket.

You would have to see if there is even connections in the fuse-board where the fuse would go.
If there is then yes you could.
