Hello, I've got a 2012 se and want to fit a rear 12 v aux socket, I've had a look in the boot and there is a fuse box on the N/S how easy is it to wire one to this, I'm useless with electrics so nice and easy please?

It doesn't work off the rear board it works off the glove-box one.

I've looked in the user manual and it says empty fuse holder 30 in the rear load compartment is for rear power socket, couldn't I just put a spade conector into it for live and a inline fuse and earth it to the body.

That is for the boot 12v socket.
You would have to see if there is even connections in the fuse-board where the fuse would go. If there is then yes you could. Astra-J 2.0 CDTI S/S
