I've read some good reviews about this stuff but has anyone used it? Can I use it? If so what's the best way of getting it into the fuel system?

You would put it into the tank then fill up with fuel.

I've never heard of this product though.

I always recommend protec

A lot of the videos and how too's seem to be on VW and Audi products but it does say suitable for all diesels. I've noticed that the fuel filters and pipework on those cars seems to be under the bonnet in an easyish to reach place unlike the Astra j which is under the car near the fuel tank. If anyone else has used this direct into the system instead of putting it into the fuel tank itself id be interested to see how it's been done.

the problem i noticed is the astra j like the insignia uses plastic fuel pipes
so i guess the best place is as you say to tap into is the pipes on the fuel filter
i need to have a good look at the fule pipes in the engine bay to confirm that
